WALK YOUR WAY TO HEALTH

Enjoy meeting new people? Like to explore your area? Then join us for a pleasant walk in the country! These free guided walks are designed for people with health di culties who would bene t from gentle exercise,but everyone is welcome. Local trained volunteers will lead the way but you decide your own pace.

Sunday walks last 1 1⁄2 to 2 hrs and more vigorous than those on Wednesdays,which take about an hour. All walks start at 10.30 am.

 

Sunday 4 February

Meet at the allotment car park,Gnosall then to Crow’s Nest car park to start

From Crow’s Nest along the old railway line,passing WiIlbrighton Hall and the Broadhill windmill.

5 mls and 3 stiles

Wednesday 14 February

Meet at the allotment car park,Gnosall then to Crow’s Nest car park to start

From Crow’s Nest to Coton End Farm and return along the old railway line. 2 mls and 1 stile.

Wednesday 28 February

The car park for SWT Loynton Moss reserve on the A519
Over Loynton Moss to see the drifts of snowdrops,down onto the canal towpath to Norbury Junction and return via Norbury Manor on quiet lanes and tracks between elds.

Approx 3.5 mls and no stiles

Walkers should wear loose tting clothing,with layers that can be put on or taken o and comfortable
and supportive footwear such as trainers,or sensible shoes. In the event of bad weather,leaders at the start point on the day may decide to cancel a walk. Routes may also be changed to suit conditions.
