LOCAL NEWS:On 3rd May our regular get-together was at Bank House. We had a very pleasant afternoon together and were able to catch up with everyone’s news since we last met. Rupert led our closing reflection highlighting for us the Pope’s recent document,Gaudete Exsultate. It reminds us that holiness is about wholeness, not about being unworldly. It is about getting mud on our feet. It is a significant document and copies can be made available for those who wish to obtain more details (ring 822348). Despite the absence of our regular superb musicians we finished with a hymn, managing to hold our singing together for all verses of Make Me a Channel of Your Peace. That is not to say that the usual musicians were not very much missed.

Our next meeting is on Thursday 28th June at 2.30 pm. Venue to be announced later.
