Jambusters

The magical snowdrops have arrived;I have recently visited the woods at Loynton Moss Reserve as I have done each spring for the last forty five years!!! The best display around here ,do go soon if you can ,they are wonderful as ever,if you are really lucky you might even spot some Scarlet Elf Caps growing on the mossy branches, also very special and not to be missed!!

Thank you so much to Helen Bundy from Gnosall Blood Bikes who came along at the last minute after Swifts Bakery had to cancel. I was also unable to attend that meeting but have been told by many members how interesting it was to learn of the vital work carried out by the BRILLIANT volunteers who ferry emergency blood supplies to our hospitals We are so lucky to have this brilliant service provided, the stories behind the scenes were fascinating, thanks Helen.

In APRIL we are holding our very first food fair, lots of local producers will be sharing skills and produce, put the date on your calendar NOW!!!

Our next Meet will be our A.G.M. I know, but it has to be done!! We will make it as brief as we can to leave time for our “Sticking Out “ workshop,(my daughter always called it that!!) Please have a think about joining our committee ,our meetings are always enjoyable and a great way to make new friends, don’t be shy,get that little arm in the air!!

Hope to see you all on WED March 7th. Tel.Sue Spencer 822306.
