Treasure Island

Gnosall Players Treasure Island

Sailing to Treasure Island and getting the treasure back was a monumental task but with so many “delightful” characters who could make the most of the pantomime everybody had an entertaining time. With very appreciative and lively audiences the cast had a whale of a time. Potty Pansy scared everyone with her promise of cooking whilst Blind Ali found out she wasn’t blind in both eyes but had the patch on the wrong eye. Who could forget the fantastic characterisation of limping Long John Silver bringing the audience to tears of laughter with his talking parrot?

Barmy Beth must have put audiences off buying cheese with her antics but as far as the Sunday Matinee audience was concerned she gave them a pain in the stomach – from laughter of course not cheese. Billy Barnacle wowed both cast and audience with his death scene of kicking the bucket,as the front row were wondering where the bucket would end up. Come back at February half term in 2019 to see our next exciting pantomime.
