Walk your way to health

Enjoy meeting new people? Like to explore your area? Then join us for a pleasant walk in the country! These free guided walks are designed for people with health difficulties who would benefit from gentle exercise,but everyone is welcome. Local trained volunteers will lead the way but you decide your own pace. Sunday walks last 1 ½ to 2 hrs and are more vigorous than those on Wednesdays,which take about 1 hr. All walks start at 10.30 am.

Sunday 1 April

The allotment car park off Newport Rd,Gnosall 

Walk Towards Walton Grange along footpaths and Lanes before returning on the Cowley Rd.

5 mls. 2 stiles

Wednesday 11 April

Car park off Station Rd,Haughton,for the old railway line green way. 

Walk along the old railway line towards Stafford,turning onto Brazenhill Lane then return past the play park.

2.5 mls. No stiles. 

Wednesday 25 April

The allotment car park off Newport Rd,Gnosall then car share to the Aqualate Mere NNR car park. Bring binoculars

Walk. Follow footpaths alongside the beech woods,detour to the bird hide overlooking the mere then through the woods to return on a quiet lane.
